Si Mallorca
Since 2012, Si Mallorca has been supporting families in need, single mothers, and children across Mallorca — quickly, directly, and without bureaucracy. Every week, material donations are collected, sorted, and distributed to families in crisis on a massive scale.
How it all began
Anja Dauber and Ralf Goy had already begun privately supporting children's homes and families in need on Mallorca in the 1990s. When the banking crisis hit Spain in 2012 and poverty on the island increased dramatically, they founded Si Mallorca as a registered social welfare association under Spanish law, based in Llucmajor.
Weekly material donations on a massive scale
What makes Si Mallorca special is the sheer scale of weekly aid. Clothing, food, school supplies, furniture, baby equipment — everything is collected, sorted, and delivered directly to families. For young families with babies and toddlers, this help is often vital. The logistics are largely carried by volunteers.
More than material aid
Si Mallorca also helps with housing emergencies: families facing eviction receive support finding alternatives. An accompaniment service helps navigate bureaucratic processes. School meal sponsorships ensure no child sits hungry in class. And children's homes receive supplementary care support.
Anja — the heart of the organization
Anyone who meets Anja Dauber instantly feels it: this is not about talking — it's about doing. With tireless dedication and a huge network of volunteers and donors, she ensures that help arrives where it's needed most — week after week, year after year.
Joint Christmas Campaign 2024
In December 2024, Fundació Predator and Si Mallorca joined forces for a Christmas campaign: thanks to the generous donations from our community, we were able to deliver personal gifts to children in need across Mallorca. Xenia from Fundació Predator and Anja from Si Mallorca handed out the presents together to the families — a moment that shows what's possible when two organizations work hand in hand.
